When creating your Minecraft server, you need to choose a good location to start. First, consider each location's CPU speed out of 5. Then, find where your player base will be or where you are located. Follow the steps below to do so.
Go to our Status Page to view available nodes.
Select the node that is geographically closest to you or the one with the CPU speed you prefer and copy it.

You can now press the Windows key or use the search function at the bottom of your computer and type "cmd". Run the program that pops up.

Now type this command but fill IP with the IP you copied "ping IP".

You can see that this location has an average ping of 49ms, that's pretty good! anything over 125ms you may start to notice issues. You can join our Discord if you have any questions or issues!
